Colt Commercial Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol made in 1914 as a 1,000 lot order by the Canadian Government as stated in accompanying factory letter. Blued slide with "Colt Automatic Calibre 45" on right side and Colt address and patent dates on left. Correct sights. Correct Colt internal parts along with hammer, barrel, slide stop, and safety catch. Blued frame with smooth backstrap and lanyard loop. Walnut diamond checkered grips. Comes with two-tone clip. CONDITION: 60% fading blue with carry wear and balance turning to a plum brown. Spring guide has silicon buffer. Grips show wear with noticeable checkering left. Clip has noticeable two-tone with finish fading to silver. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
