Colt Series 70 "Lightweight Commander" made from 1970 to 1983 by Colt Industries, Hartford, Connecticut. Blued slide with sandblasted top with two-line Colt address and rampant Colt on left side and Colt's patent and address on right side. Serrated front sight with notched rear sight. Polished serrated hammer with hole. Blued frame with "CLW" prefix serial number and sandblasted grip with serrated arched mainspring. Polished barrel marked "Colt 45 AUTO" in ejection port. Walnut checkered grips with gold Colt Medallion. Original blued seven-round clip marked on bottom "Colt .45 AUTO". Comes with period brown cardboard simulated wood two-piece box with "COLT" on lid and original paperwork for this model of gun. CONDITION: 90% original blue with small handling marks and dings. Perfect grips. Perfect bore and mechanics possibly unfired. Box is in good condition but is not serial numbered to this gun but is the correct box. Nice gun. DLM
