Colt Army Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol made in 1918. Parkerized finished replaced slide redone for World War II with two-line address and patent with rampant Colt in middle of lines. Blued Colt hammer, safety catch, slide stop and trigger. Colt internal parts. Parkerized 1911 frame with "Eagle S12" inspector stamp and smooth backstrap with lanyard loop. Two-tone clip with lanyard loop. Walnut checkered diamond grips. Comes with factory letter stating shipment to United States Government Greenville Piers, Jersey City, New Jersey in 1918. CONDITION: 50% arsenal finish remaining with corners turning a silvery patina. Left grip appears to be a replacement with right being original with well-worn checkering. Spring guide has a silicon buffer. Barrel bushing appears to be a replacement. Clip is original style. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
