Lot consists of (A) Marlin Model 1893, 24" round barrel with a button magazine tube. Chambered in .38-55 W.C.F. Case hardened frame, lever, hammer and buttplate. Blue barrel and forearm cap. Lyman Model 21 receiver sight and Beeches combination fold down front sight. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. CONDITION: Professionally restored with beautiful correct appearing case colors. 95-98% reapplied finishes remain. Wood shows little wear. Bore is bright, action tight and crisp. (B) Marlin Model 1894 semi-deluxe rifle. 24" half octagon to round barrel. Half length magazine tube. Chambered in .44-40 W.C.F. Blue with case hardened frame, lever, and buttplate. Select grain, checkered stock and forearm. Pistol grip with rifle style crescent buttplate. Tang mounted Lyman sight. CONDITION: Near fine overall. Barrel is refinished with 98% reapplied blue remaining. Frame is a dove grey patina. Wood shows moderate to heavy wear, stock has a 2" crack at the toe. Bore is darkening. Action is crisp. -MKS-
