Lot consists of: (A) Winchester Model 1885 Lowall "Winder" single shot musket in .22 Short made circa 1920. Blued round barrel with no rear sight and ramped blade front sight. Blued receiver with correct Lyman receiver sight, plain trigger and "U.S." with flaming bomb stamp. Correct walnut wood musket style buttstock with sling swivel and blued buttplate. Walnut finger groove full forestock with blued band with sling swivel and blued nose piece. CONDITION: 90% original blue and varnish with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics. (B) Winchester Model 1885 "Highwall" single shot rifle made in 1905 customized into a varmint or target shooting gun. Blued round unmarked sporter weight barrel in unknown rimmed cartridge (possibly .22 Hornet or 2R-Lovell). Blued receiver with Winchester single set trigger. Custom walnut stock with rollover cheekpiece and aluminum marksman's buttplate. Custom walnut beavertail forearm. 10X R.A. Litschert scope with recoil spring and aluminum mounts and original aluminum caps. CONDITION. 70% blue and varnish with shootable bore and good mechanics. Scope is clear and functions. Need chamber casting to determine exact caliber. Great 1940's vintage rig. DLM
