Lot consists of: (A) German Kar-98 Mauser sporter bolt action rifle with scope. Made 1918 and heavily sporterized thereafter. Original barrel, serial numbered to the receiver. Trigger guard and floor plate do not match the rest of the gun. German military proofs on the right of the receiver. Added ramp blade front sight and Williams u-notch rear. Heavy blue finish has been added to all the metal components. Bolt has been reworked with serrations cut into the handle. Aftermarket wood stock hard wood stock with checkering on the forearm and wrist. Rubber recoil pad on the butt. Includes attached Bushnell sport view 4X scope. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its aftermarket finish with a few light handling marks. Stock is excellent with a few light handling marks. Bore has minor pitting at the muzzle, but retains crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Winchester Model 43 bolt action rifle. Made 1951. Round steel barrel with hooded blade front sight and rear leaf. Factory drilled receiver. Blued finish on the barrel and receiver. Hardwood stock with an oil finish. Checkered steel butt plate. Includes one non-factory steel magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few mild handling marks and spots of wear. Stock is near excellent with a few minor handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically excellent. JWA
