(A) Marlin Model 1881 with a 28" octagon barrel with a full length magazine and standard sights. Chambered in .32-40 WCF. Has select-grain walnut checkered stock and forearm, a rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Completely restored, with 97% of the reapplied blue finish remaining. Wood shows little wear since restoration with sharp checkering. Bore is excellent with minor abrasion, action is tight and crisp. (B) Marlin model 1881 with 24" half-octagon to round barrel with full length magazine tube, standard sights, chambered in .32-40 WCF. Has a plain, straight grain, walnut stock and forearm with rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very good overall with 50-60% original blue with areas of "Cold Blue." Wood is sound, and has been lightly sanded. Bore is dark. Action is a bit "clunky." -MKS-
