Saber marked on the ricasso "C. Roby Chelmsford Mass", the reverse "U.S. / 1865 / A.G.M.", leather covered grip with twisted wire wrap. Incorrect model 1904 scabbard. CONDITION: Blade is mostly bright with areas of dark staining. Leather grip shows areas of wear, wire is complete. Steel scabbard retains most of its original blued finish. DG
