Harper's Ferry manufactured musket with 1859 dated lock with Maynard tape priming system. Lock also marked with "(Eagle)" and "U.S. Harper's Ferry". Rifled barrel dated 1860 with rear flip sight and blade front sight. Walnut stock with iron hardware including later style patchbox (addition). Steel ramrod. CONDITION: Metal fading to gray patina. Wood has been cleaned with small chip behind lock missing. Patchbox added at one point in time. Dark bore with good mechanics. Repaired loading gate hinge. DLM
