Lot contains: (A) Imperial German M98/05 bayonet with a "Deutsche Maschinenfabrik, Duisburg" marked blade dated "17" on the spine, retaining 96+% of its original blued finish with very light scattered marks. Steel fittings retain 85-90% of their original blued finish with light freckling, with dark wooden grip panels. Blued scabbard is unmarked retains 85-90% if its blued finish with light freckling and scattered marks. Early leather frog is attached with moderate wear. CONDITION: Excellent plus. (B) Third Reich Polizei dress bayonet with a "E.F. Horster, Solingen" marked blade with light runner and scattered marks with light freckling, mainly on the tip. Nickel plated brass fittings retain 95+5 of their finish with a unit marking of "K.M.161." with aluminum police eagle mounted on the stag grips. Black leather scabbard retains 90+% of its finish with light mildew in its recess, and nickel plated brass fittings retain 90-95% of its finish, with the matching unit marking near the throat.
