Lot consists of: (A) US World War II Kennedy Arms fighting knife with leather scabbard. CONDITION: Blade shows very light wear and maintains its original bluing. Blade is marked "US" on the ricasso. Hardwood handle is faintly marked "Kennedy Arms St. Paul" and displays signs of wear from service use. Metal bolts show signs of corrosion. Leather scabbard is marked "Kennedy Bros. Arms Co. St. Paul" with the number "227S" at top. Scabbard is missing 1/3 of the top where the knife gets attached to a belt. This is a very scarce example of a WWII fighting knife. Very good overall. (B) US World War I Mark I Trench Knife with mismatched parts. The knife is marked "U.S. 1918 H.D. & S. 1918" on handle and "Aulion" on blade. CONDITION: Blade is in very good condition and has been preserved in a light coating of oil. Handle exhibits heavy brass fading and pitting. Metal scabbard exhibits pitting and blemishes.
