Made by Charles Baum of the Upper Susquehanna Region circa 1830. Full curly maple stock with brass hardware including a four piece patchbox with nine piercings. Brass combpiece and saddle plate. German silver thumbpiece, cheek and barrel key inlays. Flint lock with double set trigger control. Full octagon rifled barrel signed in script "C. Baum". Hardwood ramrod with cleaning worm attachment. CONDITION: Lock is a replacement and not original to gun. Brass has been cleaned with stock having traces of original finish. Plugged rear sight. Good mechanics and shootable bore. DLM
