Lot consists of: (A) Model 1873 Trapdoor "Cadet" rifle with breechblock marked "US Model 1873". Lock marked "US Springfield 1873". Buffington rear sight with blade front. Walnut stock with illegible proofs. Iron hardware with steel ramrod. "US" marked buttplate with no trap. CONDITION: Overall good condition with blue fading to gray. Wood cleaned with light coat of added finish. Good mechanics and bore. (B) Model 1873 Trapdoor "Cadet" rifle with breechblock marked "Model 1873 over (Eagle) (Crossed Arrows)" and "US". Lock marked with "(Eagle)" and "US Springfield". Walnut stock with iron furniture. US marked buttplate. Adjustable rear sight with blade front. CONDITION: Overall good with 60% blue. Traces of original finish on wood. Missing steel ramrod. Good mechanics with shootable bore. DLM
