(A) Model 1853 Socket Bayonet with Leather Scabbard. Scattered freckling along blade, and English proof marks, 9/73, on ricasso. Leather scabbard shows wear and patina, and brass fittings have areas of light denting. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (B) An English Model 1853 Junior Socket Bayonet with added grip. Old patina and rust along length of blade. Lacquered wooden handle shows age and light patina. CONDITION: Very good. (C) Model 1853 Junior English Socket Bayonet with "Crown over B" proof marks and no scabbard. Light old rust and patina throughout. CONDITION: Very good. (D) English 1853 Junior Socket Bayonet with a unit marking of "4/250". Proof marks on ricasso area, and scattered freckling throughout. CONDITION: Excellent. (E) Model 1853 English Socket Bayonet with proof marks on ricasso and light patina and old rust throughout. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (F) Model 1853 Junior English Socket Bayonet with Proof marks "Crown over B over 54". Scattered light marks and freckling throughout blade. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (G) Model 1853 English Socket Bayonet without English proof marks suggesting possible American acquisition. Dark patina throughout. CONDITION: Very good. (H) Model 1953 English Socket Bayonet with proof mark Crown over "E", with scattered dark rust and patina. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (I) Model 1853 English Socket Bayonet with Leather scabbard. Socket has heavy pitting, blade has scattered freckling, leather scabbard shows moderate wear and dark patina to the fittings. CONDITION: Very good. (J) Model 1853 English Socket Bayonet Crown over "E" and Leather Scabbard. Light freckling throughout, blade still retains bright finish. Leather Scabbard shows moderate wear to the leather and light patina over brass fittings. Scabbard is British Proof marked as well. CONDITION: Excellent. (K) Model 1853 English Socket Bayonet with damaged Leather Scabbard. Scattered freckling throughout, and British proofs. Leather scabbard has damage to leather and fittings are heavily patina'd. CONDITION: Good. (L) Model 1895 British Socket Bayonet with scattered freckling throughout. No Scabbard. CONDITION: Very good. (M) Dutch Model 1871 Socket Bayonet with old dark rust staining throughout. Dutch Proof marks. CONDITION: Very good. D.W.
