Lot consists of: (A) Indian bayonet with bowie blade for the Enfield No. 5 carbine. Ricasso marked “RFI” – Rifle Factory Ishapore. CONDITION: Excellent, showing minor use only. (B) French Model 1874 Gras bayonet, spine marked with St. Etienne arsenal markings and dated 1878. CONDITION: Blade appears to be mostly bright under dried grease. Wood grip exhibiting a few scattered dents. Steel scabbard displays most of its original blued finish with minor scattered roughness. (C) Swiss M 1863 Ordnance socket bayonet. No scabbard. CONDITION: Steel is mostly bright with areas of dark staining. (D) Spanish Model 1893 Mauser bayonet, no scabbard. CONDITION: Sharpened blade is mostly grey with areas of dark staining. Checkered wood grip with moderate wear. (D) Argentine Model 1909 short sword. Ricasso marked "Weyersberg Kirschbaum Solingen", reverse marked "Modelo Argentino 1909" over crest. Numbers matching. CONDITION: Excellent, showing minor use only. (E) Japanese Arisaka bayonet with ricasso marked Seiki Seisaku-jo - Tokyo Hourglass proofs. Steel scabbard is painted green and displays a small painted flag. CONDITION: Very good, the sharpened blade is mostly smooth and grey with minor dark staining. Scabbard exhibits a number of shallow dents. DG
