1887 vintage Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Serial number 122319 matching on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Nickel with 7 - 1/2" "Etched Panel" barrel marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". Fire blue screws. Correct two piece, black hard rubber grips, checkered with Rampant Colt and Eagle motifs. British proof marks on barrel and cylinder. Housed in a period American style dealer case constructed of walnut with a green partition style interior. Nice (reproduction) dealer label on inside of lid marked: "JOHN P. MOORE'S SONS" with graphics showing cartridges and Colt Single Action Army Revolvers. Includes an "L" shaped screwdriver marked "CI & CO" and a brass oil bottle. CONDITION: Revolver is excellent overall. Approximately 85% original nickel remaining with moderate wear and light freckling on barrel muzzle. Areas of scattered flaking on cylinder. Excellent etch panel with a vertical scratch located at "TI" of "FRONTIER". Action is tight and crisp. Bore is excellent and bright. Case exterior is refinished and the interior has been relined. Overall a very fine and desirable "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" that has been well cared for and showing honest wear. -MKS-
