Early SA dagger with a "Puma, Solingen" marked blade which exhibits heavy polishing and freckling removal, which has removed most of the cross graining. Blade turns slightly in its fittings. Solid nickel fittings have a uniform moderate age patina, scattered marks, and the cross guard has the SA District marking of "Nrh" (Niederrheim). Rosewood grip is in excellent with a couple of light dings and scratches. SA emblem and eagle are original to the grip and in excellent condition. Anodized scabbard retains 85-90% of its original brown finish, with 40-45% of its lacquer, with light freckling and three light dents on the lower edge. Plated nickel steel fittings have a nice age patina throughout, with a couple of light scrapes and tiny dings near the tip. Blade fits very tightly in the scabbard. CONDITION: Overall very good plus.
