Manufactured by Merwin & Hulbert. Open top large frame single action chambered for .44 Merwin. First model finished in nickel with ivory grips. Serial number 3725 with assembly numbers 2107. Housed in a period tooled flap holster with brass stud and cotton stitching. No markings other than 105 are found on the holster. CONDITION: Good with most all nickel finish having been worn away from years of use. Bore is good with slight patches of period pitting and strong lands and grooves. The action operates properly and has good suction. The ivory grips are very slightly undersized from shrinkage and have attained a very pleasant natural patina. The holster is very good with supple leather and solid stitching. A very popular "Old West" revolver with a great look and fully functioning. TDW
