Fine and Unusual 18K Gold C.H. Meylan, Brassus, Switzerland, for Marshall H. Mallory, New York, Five-Minute Repeating Open Face Pocket Watch, Circa 1890's. Watch was personally ordered and triple-marked for M.H. Mallory. Marshall Mallory and his brother operated the famous Madison Square Theater in New York City. Case is signed with conjoined "JS" mark, numbered, and stamped "18 Carat Fine" with hand engraved cuvette marked "Reward for return to M.H. Mallory, New York". Movement is also personalized, and reads "Property of M.H. Mallory, N.Y.". There are two very small faint hairline cracks in the dial at the 7 o'clock position, otherwise in excellent condition.
