Rare 18K Gold Vuillemier, Freres, French Open Face Repeating Clock Watch with Chain and Key. Clock watch automatically chimes hours and quarter hours, repeater function chimes only hours when activated. Sliding lock on outer rim of case at 2 o' clock disables hour repeater. Silver engine turned dial with floral guilloche. Gold chain measures 5 - 1/2" in length. Gold key set with faceted shield-shaped amethyst, bezel set. Marked inside case with case maker initial "H. C.", numbered with hallmark. Signed on brass dust cover. Hinge pin on back cover with sharp edges and needs filed, otherwise excellent condition.
