18K Elgin National Watch Company, Elgin, Illinois, B. W. Raymond, Model 1, Size 18 Hunter Case Key-Wind Pocket Watch with Keystone in Maltese Cross, Circa 1873, with #8 Key. Heavy engine turned with central monogrammed shield to front cover opposite keystone within Maltese cross on reverse. Imagery on back cover possibly Masonic or other fraternal order. Marked inside back cover "AS. Martin, Philada", stamped with raised "K18" tombstone mark. Engine turned cuvette personalized with name and dated 1891. Moderate even wear to engine turned covers, otherwise in excellent condition.
