18K Pink Gold C. J. & A. Perrenoud & Cie., Le Locle, Switzerland, "Automate" Automaton Minute Repeating Hunter Case Pocket Watch, Circa 1890. Case is beautifully hand engraved with birds and foliage with central shield to front cover, having no monograms. Cuvette signed and marked with movement details with incredibly executed antiqued hand engraving. Case stamped "K18" inside tombstone mark with hallmarks. Silver demi-dial with gold floral outer embellishment, having central automaton figures set against blued steel background. The figures strike a bell with hammers in unison upon activation of repeater function. Very minimal wear to crown and with light fading to enameled Roman numerals, otherwise in near mint condition.
