14K Gold Elgin Nat'l Watch Co., Elgin, Illinois, Grade No. 153, Model 6, Hunter Case Pocket Watch with Fancy Dial, Circa 1898. Beautifully hand engraved/engine-turned multicolor case with eight-point diamond star and shield framed by flowers and foliage on either side, having no monograms. Back cover is set with one old mine cut diamond measuring approximately 3mm. Solidarity Case, stamped "14K". Shield on front cover polished, with possible removed monogram. Otherwise excellent condition.
