Fine, Rare & Unusual 18K Gold Private Label Charles Adolphe Montandon, Locle, Switzerland, Bow-Set Minute Repeating Hunter Case Pocket Watch, Circa 1880's. Case is beautifully hand engraved and decorated in a floral motif with central shield to front cover, having no monograms, and is signed, numbered and marked "K18". Silver engraved dial with gold floral embellishments, signed "Ch's A'd Montandon, Locle" above sub-dial. Cuvette numbered and signed for private label, "Francisco Vazquez, Mexico Y Vera Cruz". Movement signed and numbered. With the case open, the bow-set function works by laying the bow against the crystal and holding down into place. Turn the crown counter-clockwise to set hands. Always set by advancing time forward only. There is only very minor wear present to crown, otherwise in near mint condition.
