Fine 18K Gold Longines, Triple-Signed Swiss Minute Repeating Chronograph Hunter Case Pocket Watch with Switched Case, Circa 1900. Made for the South American market, and named on cuvette for private label/retailer in Lima, Peru. Beautifully hand engraved/decorated case with floral motif and central shield to front cover, having no monograms. Case is fully hallmarked, signed "E.F. Co., Longines" w/winged logo, numbered and marked "18K", with two-tone, yellow and white gold awards/medals cuvette, marked "Chronographe-Compteur, Longines, 5 Grands Prix, Paris-Anvers-Paris-Milan-Bruxelles, Repetition A Minutes, G. Welsch Y Cia., Lima". Includes original double-fitted wooden case with repeater activation switch and inlaid mother of pearl plaque to lid, marked "Longines, 5 Grands Prix" inside, having a spare crystal in left-hand fitting. Some cracks present to wooden case. Constant seconds sub-dial has a small faint hairline spider-web crack, otherwise in excellent condition.
