Named after Army Colonel Charles B. Winder. 28" round barrel chambered in .22 Short. Tall blade front and adjustable, frame mounted Lyman rear sight. Blue with plain straight grain walnut stock and musket style forearm with steel cap. Carbine style steel buttplate. Frame marked behind hammer "U.S" with the "Flaming Bomb" U.S. Ordnance stamp. Sub-inspection "A" found on bottom tang. CONDITION: Excellent with 75-80% thinning original blue on barrel. Approximately 80% original blue on frame with scattered freckling. Wood is excellent showing moderate wear with scattered light dings and dents. Bore is bright. Action is tight and crisp. -MKS-
