Lot consists of (A) 1909 vintage Model 1890, serial number 396663, with special order tang mounted sight. Chambered in .22 Short (B) 1908 vintage Model 1890, serial number 361904. Chambered in .22 Long. Both rifles have 24" octagon barrels with plain straight grain walnut stock and grooved forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplates. CONDITION: (A) Excellent with 75-80% thinning original blue blending with brown patina. Wood is excellent showing modest wear. Bore is very fine with light abrasion. Action is tight and crisp. (B) Excellent as refinished. Retaining 98% reapplied blue. Edges are rounded from polishing. Wood has been sanded, with 1/2" section missing at the left side wrist. Bore is bright.
