The first, Gorham, with a tapering body engraved with a band of floral ornament, the foot rim supported on three cast winged sphinxes and with a similar cast finial on the hinged lid; the goblet Wood & Hughes in Renaissance style with a chased warrior medallion on one side and a vacant reserve on the other, the scroll handles with animal heads, and with a pierced scroll stem and domed foot.
