Lot consists of: (A) Remington Whitmore Model 1874 double barrel hammer. Twist steel barrels with smooth concave rib. Case hardened frame with double triggers and extractors. Walnut checkered straight grip stock with steel buttplate. Checkered splinter forearm. CONDITION: 60% original twist finish on barrels with good bores. 50% case colors fading to a silvery patina. Wood has look of a reapplied hand rubbed finish with light handling marks. Good mechanics. (B) Remington Model 1889 hammer double with twist steel barrels, case hardened action, and double triggers. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: Barrels fading to a dark brown color with excellent bores. 50% case with 50% original varnish with light handling marks. Good mechanics. DLM
