Iver Johnson "Hercules" grade double barrel shotgun. 28" 20 gauge barrels with 2 - 1/2" chambers. Choked modified and full. Rib is marked in gold inlay "1 of 1" Blue barrels with coined finished frame. Scroll engraving on barrel breech. Frame is engraved with scrolls and a farmland panel scene on both sides. Left side features a hunting dog flushing a quail. Right side features three quail in flight. Scroll engraving on bottom of frame with a dog head. Straight grain checkered walnut stock and forearm. Pistol grip with black cap. Single trigger with ejectors. 14" length of pull to brown rubber recoil pad. CONDITION: Very good, engraving is crisp throughout, barrel retain virtually all of their blacking with a few minor rubs to silver, mostly towards muzzle. Wood is very good, right sidepanel has some crazing of finish. A few minor areas of abrasion to checkering with damaged heads. Complete with a black luggage style case. EW
