Matte blue finish. Front sight ramp to white painted single dot, sleeved on sling eye in front of stock, express rear sights with standing leaf for 50 yards and folding leaves for 100 and 150 yards. Top of barrel with "KRUPP-SPEZIAL (Triple interlocked rings) LAUFSTAHL" steel designation. Left side with serial number, Munich proof mark, 1991 date code, and a 7. Double square bridge Mauser style action with three position safety on engine turned bolt, bolt handle with knurling around perimeter of bulb. Mounted with Swarovski 1.5-6x42 Habicht scope with duplex reticle in the first focal plane. Metal pistol grip cap with cap holder that has a steel insert. Timney trigger currently set to 2.5#. Forearm checkered through with point pattern engraving and dark wood cap. Two panels of point pattern checkering at wrist. Shadowline cheekpiece. Sling swivel near toe. Stock terminates in a red rubber Pachmayr Old English recoil pad with black line spacer. Import marked on bottom of receiver for British Sporting Arms, Millbrook, NY. CONDITION: Very good to fine as used. Some light field wear throughout, including minor bumps and bruises to wood and metal. Most noticeable is a small chip missing from the rear of the shadowline cheekpiece and a silver patch over the "KRUPP" part of the steel designation, probably from rubbing against a gun rack. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore very good, with well defined lands and grooves and a few minor areas of darkness at lands. Glass is clear, turrets throw smoothly and positively. A fine rifle from a well regarded maker ready for the next safari. EW
