Lot consists of (A) World War II US Navy Diver's Knife. The knife originally had a 6-7/8" blade but has dulled and now measures around 6-5/8". The knife's grip is the standard turned wood with a 9-groove handle that is typical of KA-BAR examples, however this knife shows no signs of any maker marks. The hilt has a brass pommel and the knife screws into a brass cylinder scabbard. The scabbard is missing its original leather strap. CONDITION: the knife is in overall fair condition. The blade shows heavy pitting. The wood handle shows minor cracks and dings but is in good condition. The brass scabbard only shows minor service wear with some dings and discoloration. (B) World War II USMC Bolo Knife by Chatillon with original leather scabbard. Knife is marked "USMC Chatillon NY" on blade and scabbard is marked "USMC BOYT 1945". CONDITION: The blade is in fair condition as it has suffered significant pitting. About 75% of the "Chatillon NY" marking remains. Handle is in good condition and only displays minor dings and scratches. Scabbard shows minor dings, scratches, and oxidation greening from age but is in overall good condition. JD
