A) First World War era British Naval Midshipman’s dirk. The dirk features a gilded brass lion head and ornate back strap, with portepee ring and acorn quillions. Pebbled ray skin grip, with wire wrap, front langet displays the naval anchor and wreath. The push button lock is present and is in working condition. The 18" long blade features on both sides the acid etched design of laurel spray and ships anchor with the Royal Cypher of King George V. The etching runs 4/5 of the length of the blade. Ricasso marked Gieve Matthews Seagrove Ltd, London, Portsmith and Devonport". Leather scabbard with brass mounts, upper mount engraved with the initials "CJB". CONDITION: Blade is mostly bright with a few areas of minor staining, etching is bright and clear. Grip with minor wear only, scabbard very good with minor wear. B) World War I French Stiletto with blade produced utilizing a Lebel bayonet blade, shortened scabbard, leather frog and carved wood twisted grip. CONDITION: Very good with bright blade and smooth dark scabbard, leather frog belt loops replaced. C) Pistol flask, 4-1/4" overall including the spout. Deep relief finely detailed eagle on both sides, working spring. CONDITION: Very good with no dents and tight seams. DG
