Made with two sets of barrels that have matted top ribs with small brass front beads. Tops of barrels marked "MADE FOR J. GREEN BY W.H. WAKEFIELD PRICE ST. BIRMINGHAM". Barrel flats with proof data. Splinter forend is near full coverage checkered in point pattern with engraved iron and Anson push button release. Scroll engraved boxlock action with side clips. Blued and scroll engraved trigger plate. Replacement round knob pistol grip buttstock with tear drop behind action and is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a black Pachmayr pad. Housed in an old full leather case which is French fitted with green felt interior. CONDITION: Good to very good. Barrels retain most of an older restored finish, a few light marks towards muzzles. Forend lug on barrel set 2 is heavily corroded. Barrel set #2 has been permanently modified with the installation of 20 gauge GaugeMate chamber adapters and fitted extractor. Action has toned to silver, trigger plate retains most of its restored blue. Forend is very good as restored. Buttstock, a modern replacement is excellent and retains most of its custom finish. Case is good with drying leather and losses to exterior. Interior is good. JTH
