Sharp's Model 1852 Carbine made between 1853 and 1855 and known as the "Slanting Breech" carbine. Blued barrel with blade front sight and flip rear sight and marked with Sharp's address in Hartford, Connecticut. Case hardened action with slide bar carbine ring. Walnut wood stock with brass patchbox, buttplate and barrel band. CONDITION: Metal worn to silvery patina with some freckling. Wood has handling marks and added coat of finish. Shootable bore and good mechanics. DLM
