Lot consists of: A) Steyr Mannlicher Model 1895 bolt action magazine rifle with blued barrel and military sights. Blued straight pull type action with polished bolt. Walnut military finger groove stock with steel hardware. CONDITION: All matching parts with bolt electropenciled with serial number. Stock stamped with serial number. 80% of a total arsenal refinish remaining. Good bore and mechanics. (B) Mauser Oberndorf Sporter rifle made by Sauer and Sohn. Blued barrel with full length matted rib marked "--- Sohns Suhl, Prussia" where a rear sight has been replaced and address partially destroyed, and on side "30. U.S.G. 1906". Lyman 35 receiver sight. Double set triggers and lever detachable floorplate. Numbers stamped on rear of magazine box and at action flat match, numbers stamped at right side of ring and under barrel match. Numbers on action flat correspond to a serial number circa 1911, which coincides well with what appears to be a Prussian Eagle proof stamped on ring, under the wood. B type walnut checkered stock with added recoil pad. European style sling swivels. CONDITION: Overall poor with pitting and excessive blue and varnish wear. Gun should be checked by gunsmith before firing.
