Lot consists of: (A) French composite Dag made with a mixture of contemporary and vintage parts. Octagonal to round barrel with geometrics and wedding bands at transition, Fluer-de-lis, cross, crown, and "ARI / MA / FMR" stamped over breech. Spanish Miquelet style lock decorated with geometrics. Brass nosecap and trigger guard, steel backstrap and buttcap. CONDITION: Good. Vintage metal has been polished to an in-the-white appearance over some old inactive oxidation. Contemporary stock is a rough fit, and there are several areas of wood fill that was used to bridge gaps in fitting. Normal handling marks throughout. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good. (B) Unsigned continental Howdah pistol in .54 caliber. Barrels decorated with geometrics and florals. Relief carved at tang with florals. Bone tipped ramrod, possibly the original, retained by a single reinforced ferrule. Floral decorations at trigger guard and buttcap. Well executed splice repair at wrist. CONDITION: Good. Metal has been polished to a bright in the white appearance over some old oxidation and age related spotting. Left cock a contemporary replacement. Wood has been sanded and refinished, with aforementioned splice repair at wrist, and some handling marks throughout. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bores are very good. (C) Unsigned Spanish coat or pocket pistol. Cannon muzzle with flat sighting rib across top of barrel. Faceted pan, stepped lock, swan neck cock. Sideplate pierced with florals. Flared butt. Paper label affixed to wrist, heavily worn and illegible. CONDITION: Metal has been polished to an in the white appearance over some old oxidation and age related spotting. Wood has a splice repair along forestock. Wood has been carefully sanded and revarnished at one point. Action works appropriately when operated by hand, bore is very good with even oxidation throughout and one deeper area of oxidation. EW
