Made in 1913, this fine long barreled gun with matted top rib that has small mid bead and special matting and presentation on top rib in elongated diamond shape that reads "CAPTAIN L.L BUNDRED U.S. ARMY 1917". Made with splinter forend which is checkered in point pattern and has blued and engraved banjo release and triangular ebony tip. Action is engraved in typical Specialty Grade pattern with open floral scroll with quail on left, ducks on right, and open scroll on bottom. Made with double triggers, auto ejectors, and non auto three position safety. The straight grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern and terminates with a white line waffle pad. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain about 98% of an older restored blue, though it has toned a bit and could easily pass for original. The action retains about 50-60% nice original case color. Stocks are sound and retain most of an older restored finish. The presentation on the top rib on this gun should be further researched. This is a fine collector quality gun with most interesting researchable history. JSL
