Exceedingly rare factory installed telescopic sight. Serial number T300344, the “T” prefix is factory representation for telescopic sight. The Remington No. 7 was a very low production gun, manufactured from 1903-1910, for a total production of only 350 rifles. To find one with a factory installed telescopic sight makes for an incredible find, only two are known to exist. Part octagon to rapid tapered round barrel. Barrel marked “Remington Arms Co. Ilion N.Y. U.S.A.” Chambered in .25-20 caliber. Wm. Malcolm scope with unique mounts. Nicely figured pistol grip walnut stock and forearm with ebony tip. Molded hard rubber grip cap with scalloped edge. Nickel plated Schutzen style buttplate. Casehardened frame. Checkered trigger. CONDITION: Excellent overall with approximately 98% factory original blue on barrel. Most all factory case color present on frame, turning a silver patina on tangs. Wood is excellent with minimum wear. Sharp checkering. Most all factory original nickel plating on Schutzen buttplate. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong rifling. Overall a rare and superlative Remington No. 7, unique opportunity to acquire the best. MKS
