LeFever Arms Company Syracuse, New York Grade "E" double shotgun made circa 1902. Fine Damascus steel barrels with ejectors, matted rib, and bead front sight. Case hardened engraved frame with dog in circle and floral pattern, double triggers, cocking indicators, and automatic safety. Walnut checkered English straight stock with added pad. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release forend. CONDITION: 50% remaining Damascus finish on barrels. Frame worn to a silvery patina with tang having been welded. Stock has been cleaned and checkering refreshed and cut for recoil pad. Mirror bores with tight lock up and good mechanics. DLM
