Made in 1927 concave matted rib that has small white mid bead and large front bead. Tops of barrels marked "L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE" on right and "HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. MFRs. FULTON NY U.S.A". Splinter forend is checkered in point pattern with banjo roll type release that is lightly engraved and triangular ebony tip. The case hardened action is engraved in typical Specialty Grade pattern with duck on right, quail on left surrounded by open floral scroll engraving. Made with double triggers, auto ejectors, and non-auto safety. The capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a lined composition buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain about 95% of their original blue. Stocks are sound and excellent and retain most of what appears to be their original finish with some finish added for preservation. Action retains about 60-70% toned original case colors. Trigger guard retains most of its original blue with some toning at tang. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine. JSL
