Made in 1929, this gun made with concave matted rib that has small brass front bead and tops of barrels marked "L.C. SMITH IDEAL GRADE" on right tube and "HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. M'F'R'S. FULTON, NY USA" on left. Splinter forend with banjo roll type release is checkered in point pattern with ebony triangular tip. Case hardened action is engraved in standard Ideal grade pattern with open leaf engraving. Made with double triggers, auto ejectors, and non-auto safety. The capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern and terminates with a modern red recoil pad. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Barrels retain about 95% of their original blue wish some minor marks. Action retains about all of its original case color, which is particularly bold and vivid. Stocks are sound and retain most of their original finish with a few light handling marks, some minor chipping to front of grip cap. Forend and trigger guard retain about 95% of their original blue.
