Made with 28" barrels that have plain concave rib with brass front bead. Tops of barrels marked "CHRISTIAN HUNTER 410 3" on right tube and CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN MFG, NEW BRITAIN, CT USA" on left tube. Made with semi-beavertail forend that is checkered in point pattern with Anson type push button release. Made with blued single selective trigger, auto ejectors, and auto safety. The full sidelock action is engraved with grouse on left, woodcock on bottom, quail on right all surrounded by beautiful detailed floral scroll engraving. Top tang and top lever are also lightly scroll and floral engraved. Long tang steel trigger guard with quail on bow, floral pattern towards tang. The steel capped Circassian Walnut pistol grip buttstock is checkered in a point pattern through the wrist, has a tear drop behind the action, gold oval near the toe, and terminates with a floral engraved skeleton buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine and near mint. Appears factory test fired only with only the most minute of handling marks noted. Accompanied by the original "GALAZAN" tag that shows the retail price on this gun at $25,000 today! JSL
CORRECTION: This CSMC Christian Hunter is a sideplated Anson and Deeley boxlock action, not a full sidelock gun.
