Volcanic Repeating Arms Company large frame Navy pistol with 6" barrel. Brass with blue barrel, and two piece varnished walnut grips. German silver post front and "V" notch rear sights. Serial number 2039 observed on frame under right side grip. Serial number 2039 also observed on inside of side plates, toggle link, bolt carrier, and right side of loading lever. No serial number found on grips. Small "L" observed on left of lever. Barrel address is partially visible. CONDITION: Fine overall. Barrel mostly a gunmetal/brown patina with scattered light pitting. Bore is dark. Brass frame is excellent showing a light honey color patina. Balance of metal a gunmetal/brown patina. Grips are excellent showing modest wear. Action operates correctly. -MKS-
