Late 1860s through 1870s production. Petite folding trigger Lefaucheux 5mm pinfire revolver with nickel finish and gold inlays. Fitted with ivory grips and cartridge ejector. Revolver is housed in a leatherette French fitted clasping case with satin lining and compartment for cartridges. Modestly engraved in a rose and scroll pattern with gold inlaid in cuts. Six shot non-fluted cylinder with loading gate on right rear of recoil shield. CONDITION: Finish is very fine, most all remaining. The bore is lightly corroded and the action needs attention as the trigger fails to return after use. The grips are excellent with no distress. The case is good with light scuffing on exterior and the satin lining is torn on the interior of lid. TDW
