Straight tapered double edge blade with deep partial fuller towards top on both sides and indistinct maker's name in fuller. Hilt also shows an indistinct maker's mark. Perforated guard with smaller counterguard on right side. Grip is wrapped with steel wire and pommel is oval shaped with a separate ball capstan. CONDITION: Sword has been cleaned and shows scattered pitting and dark spots throughout with some minor breaks and repairs to hilt. Some branches have been restored. Wrapped grip shows some fraying and losses. Hilt is tight to blade. Capstan is slightly loose. DMG
