Summary: 2220 rounds of 7.7 mm on brass feed strips; 90 rounds of 6.5 mm on brass feed strips. 75 rounds of 6.5 mm on brass rifle stripper clips. End summary. Four original wooden crates of WW2 Japanese 7.7 mm Machine Gun ammunition on brass feed strips in their original cardboard cartons. Crate #1 has 7.7 mm Semi-Rimmed with 20 full feed strips of 30 rounds each in opened cardboard cartons. Crate #2 has 7.7 mm Semi-Rimmed with 20 full feed strips of 30 rounds each in opened cardboard cartons. Crate #3 has 7.7 mm Rimless with 18 feed strips of 30 rounds each in opened cardboard cartons. Crate #4 has 16 full feed strips of SEALED cardboard cartons of 30 rounds each dated March of 1940, AND 3 feed strips in opened cartons of 6.5 mm Japanese dated 1938. Additionally, this lot includes 5 original Japanese boxes of 6.5 mm x 51mm Japanese rifle/Type 11 machine gun on original brass stripper clips. One box is opened and is dated June, 1938. Of the 4 remaining sealed boxes of 6.5 ammunition, two of marked with a red "G" within a circle indicating the powder propellent within these boxes is a double-based powder. CONDITION: All ammunition in opened cartons has been inspected and is clean and in good condition. Sealed cartons have not been opened to inspect contents. Labels on cardboard cartons vary in condition from near mint to not present. This is a treasure trove for the Japanese machine gun collector, or WW2 Japanese cartridge collector.
