Lot consists of: (A) Pair of Pre-World War II Model 1931 knee high, cap toe, lace up leather boots. Both boots are marked "R.P. Hazzard Co. March 1937" and stamped size "9E". The boots are also marked with the inspector stamp for the Army Boston Depot. Heel of boots are marked "Runner 9E". CONDITION: The russet leather is still nice and strong, but the boots each bend to the side due to standing up straight for storage. The boots display scuffs and scratches from service wear. Overall good condition. (B) Pair of World War II US Army Paratrooper jump boots. Boots are marked "International Shoe Co." and are stamped "10 1/2 D". The boots are marked with the date "Dec 28, 1942". CONDITION: Boots no longer have original laces but the leather is still strong and pliable. There are signs of wear that include various scuffs and tarnishing. Soles show heavy wear. Overall good condition. (C) Exceptional pair of World War II Type A-6 Flight Boots made by Hood. Boots have excellent specification tags and are marked size medium. CONDITION: Both boots display crisp "Army Air Forces" decal that shows no scratches. Leather is still pliable and there is barely any cracking. Rubber soles are held together perfectly and show no holes or cracks. Fleece lining is in perfect condition. Original Crown zippers still function but are hard to pull. A very fine and attractive example of the type A-6 boots, they do not get much better than this. Overall excellent condition. JD
