Originally produced in 1939. A fantastic recreation by Doug Turnbull Restorations of the iconic Winchester Model 1894 Deluxe short rifle. Fitted with full octagon 20" barrel chambered for the .30 WCF cartridge with proper Winchester address and caliber markings. Full length magazine. Case colored hammer and lever and mounted with Deluxe "H" pattern checkered XX grade highly figured straight walnut stocks with a deluxe varnished finish and checkered steel butt plate. Sights consist of a Lyman 17-A pattern small globe front and a Lyman micrometer windage adjustable folding tang sight. The rifle is further accompanied by a detailed build sheet from Turnbull Restoration detailing the extensive work and parts replacement to create this elegant rifle. CONDITION: Very fine with nearly 99% of the custom applied finishes remaining with only a trace of operational wear to hammer and trigger. The bore is pristine and the deluxe XX grade walnut stocks are nearly pristine with a few very minor micro scratches from storage. The work alone would have a cost of nearly $7000.00 today without consideration of the rifle. Truly an example of the finest American craftsmanship available at any cost. TDW
