Manufactured during the 1860's period. Extremely elaborate and highly decorated Lefaucheaux Pinfire revolver with fitted case. Marked "E.LEFAUCHEUX Le BREVETTE" on left side of barrel flat. Finished in deep highly polished blue with intricate engraving of scrolls and flowers. Gold inlaid border on cylinder and circumferencing the entire frame and backstrap. Folding trigger with single and double action operation. Finely carved ebony grips with scrolls and flower petals. Serial numbered 7094. CONDITION. Very fine with over 90% blue finish remaining on barrel and cylinder. Lower frame and front strap have silvered out and now remain a pleasant patina. Action operates properly and smoothly. Case is very fine with solid hinges and slightly solid lining. TDW
